In 1972, Mr. M.R.G. Rajan founded the transmission line services as an young entrepreneur fully charged with enthusiasm and passion towards contributing to the country's electrical infrastructure sector. He could clearly identify needs of the sector and noticed acute shortage of skills in the electrical power transmission line building. He plunged himself to take up the task of building human resources by providing adequate skills through training and created 'traditional linesmen pool’. His hard and concentrated efforts has paid rich dividends and then Mr Rajan launched a formal business entity in the name of TEEMS Engineering Constructions which not only provided a learning platform for many technicians but also emerged as a most dependable and respectable service provider in the field of transmission line construction.

 

With consistent growth, the expansion in the new geographical regions both in domestic and international arena has thrown an opportunity to the organization to spread its wings. It has constructively well taken with appropriate initiatives of Mr. G.R.Ravi, Mr M.R.G. Rajan's son, led to the growth and expansion of the company in the international market, providing technical services to many European companies, the GULF region and South East Asia. Technically qualified and backed with sound domain knowledge and vast experience, Mr Ravi led the company to completion of several projects on time and as a result company earned reputation and customer satisfaction. Mr Ravi further added many new technological applications such as GIS (Geographical information System), Digital profiling for the transmission lines, among others, to the company's product portfolio while simultaneously building agility to meet the emerging challenges and dynamic needs of the customers.

 

Incorporated in 2007 as a private limited company, TEEMS ventured into EPC model of business in the field of transmission lines for State and Central utilities in India. In keeping with Mr Rajan's vision, knowledge to SKILL and GROW, the management established 'TEEMS TRANSMISSION LINE ACADEMY' for training skilled work force and Engineers at Chennai. TTLA, a flagship initiative of TEEMS INDIA focuses on transformation of an ordinary lineman to a highly skilled versatile professionals in the field of transmission lines. As a testimony to TTLA's success, TEEMS is proud to support international companies like CTC GLOBAL, USA as their technical partners, we are happy to support them with trained "Master Installers" for all their installations across Asia.

 

Today, TEEMS INDIA TOWERLINES PRIVATE LIMITED, is an ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015 & OSHAS 45001:2018 certified company with strong focus on Process, Environment & Safety - standards. The company has significant experience in carrying out Electrical Projects in Power evacuation including High Voltage Lines construction/ installation of up to 400 KV in India, Middle East & African countries. Teems India has credited with completion of construction over 2500 Kms of Transmission Line both as a Prime EPC Contractor and Installation Partner. The company has successfully completed projects on turnkey basis for Government Power Utilities including projects funded by International Funding agencies, Independent Power Producers, Renewable companies, Road & Rail Infrastructure companies apart from many Multinational EPC companies.
